The Pace of a Tour

Our tours are suitable for the majority of people, with an average level of fitness and mobility. They often involve full days of sightseeing and agricultural visits, with some walking, sometimes on uneven ground, and climbing steps. Periods of standing can be anticipated, especially on agricultural visits.

When a tour is returning to the same hotel it is possible to take a ‘rest day’ if required, though not surprisingly, we do find that on the whole people do not want to miss out on a day’s activities.

Whilst we give the guidelines below, it is also important to remember that walking distances in airports can be lengthy, and this must also be considered when booking any of our tours.

Please read your detailed itinerary and the below information carefully, which is a guideline, intended to assist you to make an informed decision regarding which tour is right for you. All our itineraries are carefully designed, as we want you to get the maximum enjoyment from the tour.
