Join us on this exceptional journey on the Rhône River beginning in the historic city of Avignon and finishing in Lyon capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alps region.
Our one-night stay in Avignon gives us the opportunity to explore some of the agriculture in the area before boarding our luxury river cruise ship for seven-nights. Here you can sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful area of France cruising along the Rhône River. The 2-night stay after the cruise close to Lyon allows us to include further interesting agricultural visits in the region.
We travel through different areas of France during the tour, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the agriculture and interesting sightseeing excursions that are included in your holiday.

Agriculture
Our agricultural visits include a visit to a farm with Camargue bulls, bred for meat production, close to Avignon. Our cruise also offers the opportunity to go on excursions with an agricultural aspect such as a visit to a vineyard, a truffle hunting experience and an olive farm. Lyon is a major city in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alps region, a region known for cereals, fruit, vegetables, livestock and wine production. With an emphasis on ‘farm to fork’. Our visits whilst in this area include a family vegetable farm, a mixed cattle farm and a free-range poultry farm showcasing the Bresse Chicken.

Thank you to all of the Bay Farm Tours team for a fantastic Rhine & Moselle River Cruise. We loved being with such great likeminded people. The trips before and after the cruise were excellent. It was so good we have booked another River Cruise with Bay Farm Tours for next year. We hope to see you there.
