Highlights

We begin our tour with two nights in the Danish capital Copenhagen known as Northern Europe’s ‘cosiest capital’. Copenhagen was founded in the 10th century as a Viking fishing village and is now a thriving economic centre, which conforms in many ways to the Scandinavian stereotype. We enjoy a tour of the famous Tivoli Gardens and of course see the Little Mermaid on the waterfront, standing just 4ft tall it is a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen the famous Danish writer.

Agriculture

One agricultural visit we have arranged, is to a modern greenhouse farm, specialising in tomatoes and vegetable production. The operation includes two greenhouses covering more than 3,000 sqm producing around 30 tomato varieties together with cucumbers, peppers, chilli, lettuce and herbs. The visit includes an insight into greenhouse production, water recycling systems and sustainable cultivation methods.

Once more Bay Farm Tours scored

10 out of 10

with the Lake Garda holiday. I enjoyed every minute. The friendship and atmosphere amongst the group was exceptional.

Your Tour Manager never stopped working to make sure everything went according to plan, and it did, along with lots of fun and laughter, which made it

a wonderful tour
