Our excursions are set in idyllic landscapes along the Elbe and Vltava Rivers. We’ll visit Prague and Dresden, charming cities which boast a rich cultural and architectural history. The castles of Bohemia are symbols of the nobility and aristocracy of this region and house many surprising works of art. There will also be time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery during times of daytime sailing along the Vltava and Elbe rivers, as we sail by charming villages and the picturesque countryside of Bohemia.
Agriculture
In this intriguing region there is both privately owned farms and cooperatives, some dating back to the communist era. We have arranged some very interesting agricultural visits before our cruise including a 900 capita milking goat farm with their own dairy.
A privately owned horse farm, where they also have their own dairy and processing plant. We have also arranged a visit to a large arable concern growing wheat, maize, barley, rape, sugar beet and fodder as well as having its own biogas units.

The weather should be pleasant 19 to 21 degrees in the daytime, nice and bright, but it can be breezy on the water so bring layers

Our Cruise
We are using a different River Cruise company this year, Croisi Europe. A proudly French cruise line who we think provide excellent value for money, delicious French cuisine and top-quality service.
At Bay Farm Tours, we pride ourselves on providing good value to our guests and although the ‘luxury’ cruise lines are excellent, we are not convinced that they provide quite the value for money that we like to present. We think that we have found the right level with Croisi Europe. We have tried and tested them, cruising Paris with them for our 2025 Christmas Cruise where we took 65 guests. Comments were that the staff couldn’t do enough for us, the ship was spotlessly clean, and the food was second to none.

Thank you to all of the Bay Farm Tours team for a fantastic Rhine & Moselle River Cruise. We loved being with such great likeminded people. The trips before and after the cruise were excellent. It was so good we have booked another River Cruise with Bay Farm Tours for next year. We hope to see you there.
