Agriculture
New Zealand is renowned as one of the most productive agricultural nations in the world, with over 60 percent of the nation’s exports coming from agriculture. We visit a broad spectrum of farms ranging from dairy, beef, arable and sheep, to a vineyard, gardens and an orchard. We have something for everyone, no matter where your interests lie.
An important aspect of our tour is to spend time with the farmers and their families, many farm visits include lunch on the farm with the families. This allows a true insight into the Kiwi way of life and the importance of agriculture to their national economy.
Dunedin
Dunedin is New Zealand’s oldest city, Maori settlers were attracted to the natural harbour here thousands of years ago, and then in 1848 Scottish migrants established a town, giving it the ancient name of Edinburgh. Thirteen years later gold was discovered and the settlement, now known as Dunedin, became the centre of the nation’s wealth.
Dunedin is known as the Edinburgh of the South, because of its history and the strong Scottish influence.
Two nights in Singapore
Singapore is a fascinating island full of colours and contrasts, cultures and cuisine. Home to one of the world’s most famous hotels, Raffles, it also boasts one of the world’s greatest harbours, with Chinese junks sailing alongside ocean-going liners. There will be free time to shop, visit Sentosa Island by cable car, or revisit Chinatown & Little India. You may fancy a ride on the Singapore Flyer, one of the world’s largest observation wheels!
