We are pleased to once again be offering our spectacular tour to New Zealand, departing on Wednesday 21st October 2026, this tour is now a guaranteed departure and we have a few places left so we thought we would share with you our full itinerary. We produce a full Itinerary for every tour which goes into detail of all that is included.

Our New Zealand Tour is trip of a lifetime and we hope you enjoy reading through what we have planned!

We stop over in Singapore for one night on our outbound journey and enjoy some of the attractions this intriguing country has to offer. Then, it is on to New Zealand where we see the best of this beautiful country’s scenery, sights and agriculture, with significant time spent on both the North and South Island.

Sightseeing

Our tour begins with a one-night stay in Singapore, a fascinating and intriguing island. A garden city, Singapore, is regarded by many, as the cross-roads of Asia. Situated just north of the equator, it is a country of many colours and contrasts, cultures and cuisine, and it is home to one of the world’s most famous hotels, Raffles. It also boasts one of the world’s greatest harbours, with Chinese junks sailing alongside ocean-going liners.

We then continue our journey to the southern hemisphere and New Zealand. Once there, we visit The Bay of Islands, on the northern coastline of North Island, before travelling all the way to Queenstown, in the Southern Alps, of South

Island.

With some free time in New Zealand and a good number of two-and-three-night stops, there is ample opportunity to ‘step off’ the tour to meet friends or relatives, or just ‘do your own thing’ for a day.

Our return journey takes us back through Singapore for another one-night stay. There will be some free time to shop, maybe visit Sentosa Island on the stunning cable car ride, or revisit Chinatown & Little India. With views of nearby Malaysia & Indonesia you could take a ride on the Singapore Flyer, one of the world’s largest observation wheels. You certainly will not be short of things to do and see.

Agriculture

New Zealand is renowned as one of the most productive agricultural nations in the world, with over 60% of the nation’s exports coming from agriculture. We visit a broad spectrum of farms ranging from dairy, beef, arable and sheep, to a vineyard, gardens and an apple orchard. We have something for everyone, no matter where your interests lie.

An important aspect of our tour is to allocate time on the agricultural visits for group members to talk with the farmers and their families, and many farm visits also include lunch with our hosts. This allows a true insight into the Kiwi way of life and the importance of agriculture to their national economy. There have been vast changes in New Zealand agriculture over recent years, and this will be very evident both on our visits and also as we travel through the countryside. The main change has been

the movement away from sheep and arable farming to dairy farming; this is often a ‘hot topic’ of conversation both on the farms we visit and amongst fellow travellers.

Pace of the Tour

This tour is grade C. A busy tour staying in a number of hotels, climate and local conditions will possibly make the tour feel more active. The tour includes longer & shorter days. Climbing steps, walking on uneven ground/pavements is anticipated in addition to periods of standing. For this tour we would suggest you are able to easily walk a minimum of ½ mile in comfort and at a steady pace.

Itinerary

Wednesday 21st October 2026

Depart from Manchester on our morning flight to Singapore with Singapore Airlines. Flights may also be available from other airports on request and at the appropriate supplement. Meals will be served during the flight appropriate to the time of day. A selection of in-flight entertainment on your personal console will be available for you to choose from during the flight.

Thursday 22nd October 2026

Our flight arrives in Singapore early morning following our in-flight breakfast. Transfer to our well-located hotel to freshen up and leave our bags. As our rooms will not be available, we start with a city tour and begin to take in the atmosphere of this unique city.

Although much of the island is urbanised, 17% of Singapore’s land consists of forest and nature reserves. Today Singapore has a highly developed market-based economy and is consistently ranked as one of the least corrupt countries in the world, along with New Zealand.

Following the tour, we return to our hotel where you can obtain lunch.

You are sure to find something to suit your taste and appetite with the number of different dining options available.

The afternoon is at leisure to relax and enjoy the facilities of our hotel or maybe venture out on to Orchard Road, the most famous shopping street in Singapore. Evening dinner will be taken in our hotel with western style dishes served.

Friday 23rd October 2026

Today we enjoy the day in Singapore before our overnight flight to Auckland. A relaxed breakfast, after which you may wish to enjoy the hotel’s lovely outdoor swimming pool or venture out into the city to explore.

Check out of the hotel and make an interesting visit, which provides an insight into various aspects of Southeast Asian culture, made up of Chinese, Malay and Indian elements, before travelling the short distance to the Gardens by the Bay, sprawling over 101 hectares of reclaimed land. Here you are free to wander amongst the flora, fauna and unusual ‘super trees’ whilst enjoying this tranquil oasis in the midst of the hustle & bustle of the city. We then proceed to the airport for our overnight flight.

Saturday 24th October 2026

Breakfast will be in-flight before arriving in Auckland. After proceeding through customs and immigration we meet our coach driver, who will be with us throughout our time in New Zealand. We then travel the short distance to our hotel, where you can obtain a light lunch if you wish.

With 4 hectares of gardens and a landscaped pool area, our hotel is just the place to sit back, relax and enjoy the surroundings, and get to know some of your fellow travellers, before we begin our tour of this beautiful country tomorrow.

Evening dinner will be taken in our hotel.

Sunday 25th October 2026

Check out of our hotel and make our way north towards the beautiful Bay of Islands area, in the subtropical north. This is a land of rolling countryside with sparkling bays, islands and pristine sandy beaches.

We make a stop en-route at the Kauri Museum which tells the story of the kauri tree industry, and the original settlers who came to work in these forests. The museum also has an original sawmill and machinery dating back to 1929.

Early afternoon, after our visit, we continue on to Paihia at the heart of The Bay of Islands,

which is our base for the next two nights. Set within the historic Waitangi National Trust

Reserve our hotel has a superb waterfront location, with uninterrupted bay views,

surrounded by 60 acres of sub-tropical gardens.

Evening dinner will be taken in the hotel restaurant.

Monday 26th October 2026

Breakfast at our hotel before we depart on a beautiful cruise in the bay area, when hopefully we will see some of the exciting marine life of the region and sail through the famous “Hole in the Rock”.

The bay area, and many of the Maori settlements on the islands, played a major role in the development of New Zealand. The first European visitor was Captain Cook who named the region in 1769. The Bay of Islands was the first area of New Zealand to be settled by Europeans.

The afternoon and evening are at leisure to use some of the facilities of the hotel, with its spectacular free form rock and spa pools. For the more energetic, maybe a walk along the beach, which is directly in front of our hotel, or a bush walk through the grounds.

Tuesday 27th October 2026

Check out of our hotel and travel back towards Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city. On arrival in Auckland, we have a familiarization tour before checking in to our hotel, which is situated in the centre of the city and close to the shopping and harbour areas.

The remainder of the afternoon and evening are at leisure.

Wednesday 28th October 2026

Depart on a city sightseeing tour, which will include a visit to the summit of Mount Eden, with superb views of Auckland, the ‘City of Sails’, after which the remainder of the day is free to explore some of the interesting areas of the city.

Relax by the harbour watching the numerous boats sailing by, or explore the new Wynyard Quarter, the latest extension of Auckland’s waterfront. Known historically for port related industries, this area has recently been regenerated with boardwalks and new public spaces, brought to life in an authentic maritime setting. Or you may wish to jump on a ferry across the harbour to Devonport, a lovely historical village, with a promenade, colonial architecture, plus many bars, cafes and restaurants.

Evening dinner tonight will be taken at the top of the Sky Tower with magnificent views of

Auckland and the surrounding islands.

Thursday 29th October 2026

Continuing to travel south we head towards Rotorua for our 3-night stop. A visit is made to Waitomo Caves, where we have a guided tour through these amazing caves famed for their glow-worms, before continuing towards Hamilton.

The first of our agricultural visits of the tour is close to Hamilton. This is to a dairy herd, milking approx. 400 cows. We have lunch on the farm and have ample opportunity to talk with our hosts about their experience of farming in this region of the country.

After our visit continue to Rotorua and check in to our centrally located hotel.

Evening dinner is at leisure. The choice is yours; you can take advantage of the hotel restaurant or walk the very short distance to ‘Eat Street’ where there are a host of dining options.

Friday 30th October 2026

Today we have agricultural visits close to Rotorua, visiting two contrasting farms. Situated on Maori Trust Land, located in an area not altogether conducive to dairy farming is our first visit. We hear about the work of the Maori Trust and the challenges of dairy farming in this area.

Our second visit is to a pedigree Hereford beef herd. The 200-hectare farm has 100 stud Hereford cows in addition to supporting stock. Lambs are also finished on the farm. Lunch will be with our hosts.

Return to Rotorua mid-afternoon, where there will be time to relax and enjoy a walk across the park to the lake if you wish or relax at the hotel, before evening dinner which is at your leisure.

Saturday 31st October 2026

After a relaxed start to the day, we make a visit to Whakarewarewa centre, where we see at close hand the spouting hot spring geysers, bubbling mud pools and fine examples of Maori carvings. Visit the carving workshop and watch the traditional skills still being taught today. There is also a reconstruction of a pre European fortified village.

Return to Rotorua and our hotel, where the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Relax and enjoy the lakeside location of this town where 37% of the population are Maori. Take a stroll along the lake shore or visit the Rotorua Museum, a magnificent Tudor-style building housing much about the history of the area.

This evening, we continue our Maori experience and visit a Maori village, receiving a traditional Maori welcome, before trying our hand at various traditional skills. This really is a ‘cultural experience’ culminating with a concert and Hangi dinner, a traditional Maori feast where the food is cooked long and slowly underground.

Sunday 1st November 2026

After our 3-night stay in Rotorua our journey today takes us further south on North Island, passing Lake Taupo and through the Tongariro National Park, which was New Zealand’s first National Park. In the distance you will see the snow tipped Mount Ruapehu, which is the highest point on North Island, and the largest volcano in New Zealand.

We continue past Palmerston North before crossing rich farmland with magnificent coastal views, on our approach to Wellington. Check-in to our hotel right

in the heart of the city on the harbour waterfront.

Evening dinner will be taken in our hotel.

Monday 2nd November 2026

We begin the day with a morning sightseeing tour of the most southerly capital city in the world, Wellington, which became the capital in 1865. Sometimes referred to as ‘Windy Wellington’ it is the gateway to the South Island and a great seagoing city. We have an interesting, guided tour of the Parliament buildings giving us an appreciation of how New Zealand developed its parliamentary system.

The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the city with its fascinating waterfront and host of museums.

Te Papa the national museum of New Zealand is situated only a short walk from our hotel on the waterfront. An interactive museum, it brings to life the unique history, culture and geology of the country.

Perhaps a ride on the city’s cable car and a stroll through the attractive Botanical Gardens is more to your taste. Known for its coffee shops, bars and restaurants you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining options in Wellington.

Tuesday 3rd November 2026

An early start this morning as we catch the morning ferry from Wellington to Picton. The crossing, which takes three and a half hours, affords beautiful views of the Wellington skyline as we depart the capital and sail to South Island, crossing Cook Strait, through

Tory Channel and Queen Charlotte Sound. On arrival in Picton we travel towards Blenheim for a visit to a vineyard in the famous Marlborough wine growing region of the country.

Lunch will be at the vineyard, before making the short transfer to our hotel, where there is time to relax before evening dinner.

Evening dinner at our hotel.

Wednesday 4th November 2026

Leave Picton and travel south along the eastern coast of South Island. As we head towards the rich expanse of Canterbury Plain, we stop to visit a high-country sheep and deer farm. This interesting visit gives the opportunity to discuss with our hosts the challenges of farming in mostly hill country, some of which is protected native bush land.

Lunch will be with our hosts on the farm.

After another relaxed and fascinating visit we continue travelling south to Christchurch and check in to our conveniently located hotel, where we stay for the next two nights.

Evening dinner will be taken in our hotel.

Thursday 5th November 2026

The morning includes a visit to the famous Botanical Gardens, which were founded in 1863 and cover an area of 21 hectares and boast 250 varieties of roses and plants from around the world, plus a significant collection of trees and shrubs native to New Zealand.

We then visit the port of Lyttleton, where many of the original European settlers to South Island landed.

The remainder of the afternoon and evening are at leisure.

Friday 6th November 2026

On leaving Christchurch we continue travelling south over the Canterbury Plains, across undulating farmland towards Dunedin in the south of South Island. En-route a visit is made to Geraldine Vintage Car and Machinery Museum. This unique collection boasts cars, tractors and farm machinery from a bygone age.

There will be the opportunity to obtain lunch in this small farming town, after which we continue our journey to Dunedin.

Dunedin is New Zealand’s oldest city, Maori settlers were attracted to the natural harbour here thousands of years ago, and then in 1848 Scottish migrants established a town, giving it the ancient name of Edinburgh, and is still referred to as the Edinburgh of the South, and has a strong Scottish connection. Thirteen years later gold was discovered and the settlement, now known as Dunedin, became the centre of the nation’s wealth.

Arrive Dunedin late afternoon, allowing time to relax before evening dinner in our hotel.

Saturday 7th November 2026

Our journey today takes us approximately 120 miles west across country, heading for Queenstown, where we stay for 3 nights.

The first visit of the day is to a large sheep farm. Lunch will be with our family hosts. After lunch we visit a nearby fruit orchard and packhouse.

One hundred and forty years after being established as a gold mining camp, Queenstown has developed into a sophisticated cosmopolitan town, set in the heart of the Southern Alps, right on the edge of Lake Wakatipu and overlooked by rugged mountains.

This town really is quite unique, famous for ‘adrenaline sports’ and beautiful scenery you are sure to find something to enjoy.

Our ideally located hotel is on the shore of Lake Wakatipu, close to all the amenities Queenstown has to offer.

Evening dinner in hotel restaurant.

Sunday 8th November 2026

An early start today as we walk the short distance to board our boat and sail the length of Lake Wakatipu to visit a Merino sheep station. Spanning 100,000 acres, the station is home to 30,000 Merino sheep and 2,200 Hereford cattle. Originally settled in the 1860’s the early pioneers had much to contend with, including plagues of rabbits and heavy snowfall, plus the nearest neighbour was a two-day horse ride away.

The current owners have farmed the property since 1976 and, whilst transport and communication links have improved considerably, the station is approximately 45 minutes away from Queenstown by boat or 3 hours by road. Here we meet our hosts, visit the wool shed and see other aspects of this interesting family farm, obtaining some insight into farming and the way of life in this beautiful but isolated spot.

We have lunch on the station before returning to Queenstown by boat.

The remainder of the late afternoon and evening are free for personal sightseeing and relaxation in this beautiful lakeside location.

Monday 9th November 2026

This is a day for you to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the area as you choose. You may wish to take a flight to Milford Sound in the heart of Fjordland National Park, though this is subject to weather conditions, or take a thrill ride on the Shotover River Jetboat, or for something a little more sedate ride high on the aerial gondola cableway which ascends to Bob’s Peak giving wonderful views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkables, Coronet, Walter and Cecil Peaks and the mountains beyond. You could take lunch or evening dinner here and enjoy the magnificent view. There really is something for everyone

in and around Queenstown.

Tuesday 10th November 2026

Depart from Queenstown and start our journey north along the Southern Alps, via Lindis Pass and the Mackenzie Plains with views of Mount Cook in the distance.

We stop at an old gold mining centre where we have a guided tour, before finishing the tour by trying our hand at gold-panning.

Lunch is taken close by, followed by our final stop of the day at a fruit orchard. Fruit is an ideal crop for this region with its warm, sunny days and sheltered location.

Our overnight stay is in Omarama, where evening dinner will once again be taken in our hotel.

Wednesday 11th November 2026

Continuing our journey north on South Island we travel back towards Christchurch, so we are close to the airport to begin our homeward journey tomorrow with a

flight to Singapore.

En-route we pass Lake Tekapo and the famous Church of the Good Shepherd, which is on the shores of the lake, before making the last of our agricultural visits of

the tour which is to an arable farm. We enjoy lunch in the garden, with the opportunity to discuss with our hosts the interesting changes in New Zealand agriculture over recent years, before continuing our journey to Christchurch.

Evening dinner will be taken in our hotel.

Thursday 12th November 2026

Breakfast before a short transfer to the airport for our late morning flight to Singapore. Meals and drinks will be served during the flight, appropriate to the time of day, and there will be in-flight entertainment available on your personal console.

Our flight arrives in Singapore in the late afternoon local time. After passing through immigration and collecting our bags we transfer to the same hotel as on our outbound journey, so both the hotel and the surrounding area will now be familiar to you.

The remainder of the evening is at leisure.

Friday 13th November 2026

A relaxed morning and leisurely breakfast, allowing the opportunity for last minute shopping along Orchard Road, which is very close to our hotel, or you may feel a little more adventurous and venture a little further, to see some of the sights such as the famous Raffles Hotel. Opened in 1887 and within easy walking distance of our hotel, Raffles was immortalised in the novels of Somerset Maugham and Rudyard Kipling, the hotel was declared a National Monument in 1987.

The cable car to Sentosa Island is another option, offering wonderful panoramic views of Singapore, or visit the Botanical Gardens which are only a short taxi ride away. Alternatively, you may just wish to relax and utilise the leisure facilities of our

hotel.

We take advantage of a late check out before enjoying evening dinner, our last meal together on the tour. Following dinner, we have our final glimpse of Singapore before departing for the airport and our late evening flight home.

Meals and refreshments will be served throughout the flight appropriate to the time of day.

Saturday 14th November 2026

Breakfast will be served before our early morning arrival in Manchester.
