Norway is a country of unknowns, with few visitors ever getting the opportunity to experience what the country really has to offer. We have arranged our itinerary to give you the best introduction to this beautiful country. We stay for 3 nights in the lovely city of Oslo, where we make the most of the Viking history before moving on to Voss, a pleasant lakeside resort where we stay for 4 nights. Highlights
The journey to Voss at Lake Vangsvatnet, takes us on the Hardangervidda Plateau with its high barren landscape. It is from Voss we make our farm visits and take excursions to the sensational Hardanger and Sogne fjords.
Bergen brings a surprise at every turn, from the Bergenhus Fortress and the tightly packed Hanseatic houses of The Wharf, to the 12th century St Mary’s Church and numerous museums.

Sightseeing
Renowned for its striking scenic beauty, offering us rugged coastline, dramatic mountain ranges, stunning fjords and vibrant cities. Our stay in Oslo, the oldest of the Scandinavian capital cities, is home to some of Europe’s finest museums. We visit the famous Viking Ship Museum and discover more about Viking tradition and its importance to the country.
Agriculture
Norway has a strong farming tradition. Livestock forms an important part of agricultural production of the country along with many cereal, root and fruit crops. We take the opportunity to make a number of farm visits and find out a little more about the realities of farming in a country that often has a very harsh climate and high seasonal contrasts. The Handangerfjord area is well know for its fruit production and we visit a small family run orchard, where they make all kinds of fruit products to sell from their farm shop and at local markets.

with the Lake Garda holiday. I enjoyed every minute. The friendship and atmosphere amongst the group was exceptional.
Your Tour Manager never stopped working to make sure everything went according to plan, and it did, along with lots of fun and laughter, which made it
a wonderful tour
