Agriculture
Lincolnshire has long been a primary agricultural area, that produces one eighth of the UK’s food and processes 70% of its fish. In addition, Lincolnshire also grows large amounts of barley, wheat, oilseed rape and sugar beet.
Parts of this fertile county are particularly rich in nutrients with some of the most common crops being potatoes, cabbages, cauliflowers and onions

Sightseeing
The tour combines an excellent symmetry of sightseeing, agricultural visits and leisure time, providing a relaxed and balanced British holiday, with time to meander around quaint villages and enjoy this intriguing area of England.
We visit Burghley House, home of the famous Burghley Horse Trials. Built and mostly designed by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I.
Our Hotel
Sitting on the former site of the City of Lincoln Electricity works and ideally located on the Brayford Waterfront, our hotel is just a short walk to the city centre.
The Brayford Waterfront overlooks England’s oldest inland harbour, where the River Witham meets the Fossdyke Canal and has been developed into an area of walkways, cafés and restaurants. The perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.
We have just returned home from the holiday of a lifetime: New Zealand with Bay Farm Tours! There wasn't a single hiccup, the tours with Mattey, the hotels, food, weather, the group we were in. Everyone was so nice, and our Tour Manager was absolutely first class. He was always on hand making sure everything and everyone was happy. We would like to thank you all so much for a beautiful memorable holiday.
