Widely known as ‘the land of fire and ice’ and situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, just south of the Arctic Circle, Iceland is the largest of a series of islands positioned on the submarine mountain chain known as the Mid Atlantic Ridge. With volcanoes, tremendous waterfalls, spouting geysers, hot springs and mud springs, Iceland is sure to surprise and amaze you.
