Sightseeing
There is something for everyone on this tour, from the lovely wine areas, to the historic and atmospheric cities of Lyon and Avignon.
With charming villages and the picturesque countryside of Provence, we also include tours of Lyon and Avignon, an excursion to the Camargue Nature Park, along with a visit to one of the many impressive vineyards. The vineyards excel in this area mainly due to the dry winds that are famous in Provence, making an ideal environment and excellent growing conditions for the grapes.
Agriculture
The Rhône-Alpes region is home to 1.2 million cattle, whilst the Bresse region is famous for its poultry. There is a wide variety of diversification within the regions. Each region has a high number of small farms devoted to arboriculture, horticulture and viticulture. There are also larger enterprises involved in cattle breeding and cereal production.
