Our tour to Northern Italy continues to be one of our most popular tours, with a full 8-night stay in historic Garda, on the shores of the beautiful lake of the same name. The town is surrounded, in its small bay, by the impressive foothills of the Dolomite Mountains. We combine the natural scenic beauty of the area with agricultural visits to several farms in the rich and fertile surrounding area.

Highlights

Our itinerary leaves plenty time to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful lakeside resort and region. There is a large weekly promenade market and ferries depart to various towns and villages from Garda on a regular basis.

The average high in Lake Garda is 23ºC in April and 19ºC in October. Expect sunny days and cooler evenings on both departures.

Italian Agriculture
The finalised itinerary will provide an opportunity to visit a dairy farm and a beef farm in the Po Valley area. The visits give an insight into aspects of dairy and beef farm management in this very productive area, in addition to providing an opportunity to experience the Italian way of life and customs.
Our Hotel
The Regina Adelaide Hotel boasts both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, along with great jacuzzi and massage facilities.
Based on the eastern shore of Lake Garda we are perfectly situated to enjoy the idyllic surroundings of this charming lake resort, with its crystal-clear waters and pebble beaches. There are foot passenger steamers and hydrofoils from Garda to many of the other resorts on this beautiful lake.
