A Highlight

The sea dominates the landscape with stunning views of the Atlantic coastline with its majestic cliffs, exposed bays, sandy beaches, rocky coves and fishing harbours.

Due to its unique position in the bay of St Malo, Jersey grows and shrinks twice a day, one of the worlds highest tidal ranges.

We have a full day island tour taking in such sights as Gorey Harbour and Mount Orgueil Castle which is one of the most photographed sites on the island.

Agriculture

Traditionally Jersey’s economy has been centred around agriculture, fishing and knitwear, with over half of Jersey’s total land area in agricultural or horticultural use. The Jersey cow originated here, and the breed is numerically the world’s second largest breed of dairy cattle, renowned for their high milk quality and purity of breed. We make a visit to one of the leading herds on the island and take a look at how the breed has been developed and learn about the challenges the dairy industry on the island is constantly facing.

Accommodation

Our hotel is situated in an idyllic position on one of the most stunning beaches in Jersey, St Brelade’s Bay, with golden sand and crystal-clear water right on your doorstep. Our 4* hotel has almost a Mediterranean feel with a private beachfront garden where you can just sit and watch the sun go down! It also boasts indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and tennis courts – in fact everything you need for a perfectly relaxing stay.
